About ThrowVerse
ThrowVerse is a free, skill-based target game for the web, iOS and Android, made by KDEP Enterprise LLC.
What we set out to build
Most casual mobile games solve the retention problem with timers, currencies and upgrade trees. We wanted to find out whether a single well-tuned mechanic could carry a game on its own — one decision, repeated, that gets more interesting the better you get at it.
The decision in ThrowVerse is when to release. A reticle sweeps the board and you tap to throw. What makes it hold up is a deliberate piece of tension in the design: the reticle moves fastest exactly as it crosses the bullseye and slowest out at the low-scoring edges, and your release speed determines how far the throw scatters. So the most valuable shot on the board is always the least precise one available. You cannot buy your way out of that, and it does not get easier — you just get better at it.
Everything layered on top — the five distance settings, the combo multiplier, the two bonus systems, the mode-specific scoring rules — exists to change the shape of that one trade-off rather than to replace it.
What we will not do
- No pay-to-win, and nothing to buy. There are no purchases in ThrowVerse. No boosts, no lives, no cosmetic currency. Every player is on identical terms.
- No dark patterns. No countdown timers pressuring you to spend, no artificial energy limits, no manipulative streak mechanics.
- No selling your personal information. Stated plainly in our Privacy Policy and meant literally.
- No luck disguised as skill. Throw scatter is deterministic in its rules and identical for every player at a given distance. We publish the actual numbers in our guides rather than hiding them.
How ThrowVerse is funded
Advertising, and nothing else. The game shows banner ads, an occasional ad between games, and an optional rewarded ad you can watch to double the XP from a game you just finished — always your choice, with nothing lost if you decline.
Ads are served by Google AdMob in the mobile apps and Google AdSense on the web. In the EU and UK we ask for your consent choice before personalised ads are served, and on Apple devices we ask for tracking permission; unless you opt in, ads are non-personalised. Ad content is limited to a PG maximum rating.
Why we publish the maths
Our guides section quotes the game's real constants — ring boundaries, scatter values, multipliers, drop rates and bonus formulas — because a skill game is more interesting when players can reason about it properly. If you find something in a guide that contradicts what the game actually does, that is a bug on our side and we would like to hear about it.
